A'Level

We offer two choices at A'Level.

Either Design Engineering or Product Design. Students who study Design often go on to study Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture, Materials Science...and now a new range of courses around sustainability within Design.

GCSE

We study OCR Design Technology. You will spend Year 10 building your design skillset in a variety of different ways and in Year 11 you start your NEA and spend most of the year completing this. You will be investigating, designing iteratively through sketching and prototyping and evaluating with your users throughout the process. Many of the projects will have mechanical elements, electronics and potentially even programming if your design requires it.
